Jean Garner (singer and actress, AEA), with the James Brandfonbrener Trio, brings you an evening of beloved jazz, Great American Songbook favorites, and pop standards — with engaging patter— celebrating the charm of spring and romance.
Garner has soloed at New York’s Green Room 42, Laurie Beechman Theatre, Lincoln Center, regional stages, and concert halls — and acted with Broadway teams. Audiences love her relaxed and inspiring vocal style and sets. “Jean’s voice blew me away,” M. Holmes, singer. “This production is at its best when Garner is on... she’s a gem,” The Pittsfield Gazette. “She was funny at one moment then heartbreaking and moving the next,” Max Chuck, writer. Jean “is a singing actor... a natural... beyond genius,” A. Hagan.
James Ahn Brandfonbrener (pianist, composer, music director) actively performs at diverse venues across NYC, such as The Cutting Room, 54 Below, and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. He recently debuted Off-Broadway as music director at the American Theater of Actors.
