If there is one word to describe jazz, improvisation would be on the top of the list. And here at Jazz on Main, we try to keep the spirit and full essence of that experience.

The Nights at Jazz on Main are full of surprises 

Musicians - Please bring your instruments, you never know, you might feel the urge and we will be here to witness it. 

Every Thursday Show starts with a short set and thereafter you are welcome to join in. Get on the list and be prepared to perform 1-2 songs. 

We expect you to be here when the music starts (usually at 8 PM). Your fellow musicians expect to have an audience like you are, show your support, it is the respectful thing to do. 

If you are performing on the Stage, we will discount the cover charge by 50% (purchase of a drink/meal is required).

Keep in mind that the only way we can sustain providing our services and especially a house band is if the music community and the community at large support us. 

IMPORTENT! message to musicians:

We have a small intimate space, in general there is no need for monitors. The sound will be controlled by the house, not from the stage.

Bass players: Acoustic bass - NO amp, and no Mic, you are going direct to the PA from your pickup, it will sound way better than anything else you think you can do. Electric bass - going Direct.

Electric Guitar: You can bring your Amp and pedals (obviously) but know that we can also go direct to the PA and feed it through an amp simulator in the system.

To all - We do not have music stands or lights for it, please bring your own. 

Our Space is acoustically treated to a recording studio level. We offers Audio multi-track recording as well as video recording. Postproduction editing and mixing is available too. We can record your performance with a live audience or off hours session, with up to 4 cameras angles and multi-track audio recording. We will make you sound great. Enquire by email.

Gretsch Catalina Club. We got piccolo snare and some basic cymbals. Bring your own Snare, cymbal and/or any hardware of your choice. 

Guitar Amp (by request), Fender Quad Reverb (in a duo cabinet).
