John Smith, a guitarist with his own unique sound, is a fixture in the Harlem and Long Island Jazz scenes.
His trio is one of the baddest bands in the tri-state area – bringing a mix of accessible jazz and well-known pop, r&b
and rock to his audiences. A seasoned performer, John entrances the audience with his brilliant playing
and knows how to bring everyone to their feet and keep them dancing. The Trio has played Lincoln
Center, The Red Rooster (Harlem), Minton’s Jazz Club, The Oo La La Club as well as private and
community events. John can provide solo entertainment for smaller venues and private events, as well
as a quartet for larger events. John’s latest single release has spent several months on the Spotify Top
100 Streaming List for Smooth Jazz.
